Abstract
The reasons of changes in the mobility of proton-containing groups (water molecules and hydrated protons, H 2n + 1 O n + ) of ion exchange membranes at various temperatures and water uptake are considered by an example of membranes based on polyethylene and grafted sulfonated polystyrene.
