Abstract The reactions of lithium derivatives of sydnones with 1,3-dichloro-1,1,3,3-tetramethyldisiloxane have been studied. The first representatives of sydnon-4-yl substituted disiloxanes and silicon macrocyclic derivatives of sydnones were obtained and their molecular structures were studied by X-Ray and 1H, 13C, 29Si, and 15N NMR spectroscopy.
