Abstract
A variety of knowledge sharing methods have been proposed based on experience and precedents. However, the effects of these methods have never been quantitatively investigated. This study proposes a knowledge sharing model in organizations to analyze the effect of knowledge management. Knowledge sharing processes are modeled and simulated using a multiagent approach. Knowledge repositories and knowledge managers improve organization performance. Additionally the year 2007 issue is represented using the model and its solutions are also shown. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
