Abstract
Ruthenium(II) catalysis allowed for regioselective annulations of challenging ferrocenylalkynes by oximes or N-methoxybenzamides through isohypsic CH/NO bond functionalization to furnish substituted isoquinolines and NH-free isoquinolones with ample scope.
