Ortho-quinone methides (o-QMs) are an important class of versatile species that have proven useful in synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry as well as materials chemistry. This Minireview summarized recent achievements in the exploration of o-QMs in organocatalytic asymmetric cycloaddition reactions according to the type of catalytic systems published since 2016.
