Abstract
The architecture and diverse biological activities of the 3H-pyrrolo[2,3-c]quinolines and marinoquinolines have stimulated the development of several new strategies to their synthesis. This review covers the total synthesis and the biological evaluation of these fused heterocycles up to December 2020.
