Abstract
Sustainable Nitrogen-doped hydrothermal carbon aerogels (N-HTC) were chemically tailored by heat treatment for development of novel Pt/N-HTC electrocatalysts for oxygen reduction reaction in acidic media. Performance and stability were successfully optimized towards the design of platinum-based ORR electrocatalysts with high Platinum loadings (40 wt %, Pt/N-HTC).
