Inorganic Chemistry
Abstract
An analysis of the structures of lanthanide benzoates, based on the Cambridge Structural Database (CSD) data, was conducted. In particular, the analysis of the Ln–O bond length was carried out, and the role of different substituents was revealed. These parameters are especially crucial for the chemical design of new luminescent materials based on the lanthanide complexes.
