Abstract
A copper-promoted Ritter-type trifluoroethoxylation of (hetero)arenediazonium tetrafluoroborates with TMSOCH2CF3 was developed. The resulting trifluoroethyl imidates are potentially valuable in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry.
