Abstract
Peak-width measurements and product-ion studies show that deprotonated 2-diazo-2-cyanoacetamides and the isomeric 4-cyano-5-hydroxy-1,2,3-triazoles fragment through a common intermediate to form (OC3N)− as base peak.
