Synthesis, Solution and Solid‐State Fluorescence of 2‐( N ‐cycloamino)cinchomeronic Dinitrile Derivatives

Abstract
A series of novel 2-(N-cycloamino)cinchomeronic dinitriles showing dual state photoluminescence was synthesized and characterized. The most intense fluorescence was observed in non-polar solvents with quantum yield up to 0.8. All the synthesized compounds also showed solid-state emission in the blue-green region of the spectrum without significant aggregation caused quenching effect.
