Краткое описание
Three-dimensional 10-membered channel system with a slightly bigger pore diameter associated with a reduced acidity strength of the zeolite is the decisive factor for the low-temperature gas-phase alkylation of benzene with ethylene. In comparison with MFI and *SFV zeolites, IMF and TUN zeolites show a higher ethylene conversion, comparable ethylbenzene selectivity, higher ethylation selectivity and much lower xylene content in gas-phase alkylation of benzene with ethylene.
