Abstract
Web site design is a key factor for a successful website. The number of websites is very large for this reason a successful website needs to fulfill this key element. The website design affects also the Universities world-wide because it affects the number of student applications. For this reason, in this study, we have analyzed the design and easy of use of all websites of public universities in our country. For analyzing the website design, we have used Eye tracking Pupil Labs which is tested with different calibration techniques and then its equipment and the result is compared. To analyze the design different parameters are measured, such as: time for applying as a new student, how much time consumes the navigation bar, how much time consumes photo shower as slider, time which is taken by news and events, footer is analyzed and video presentation how much time it takes. All these parameters are measured for each University and the smallest time taken with these actions result in better design from others. Also, a questionnaire is used for collecting data related to the website’s design from participants in the eye tracking analyzing.
