Abstract

Polymerization of unsaturated metal carboxylates is a unique method of synthesis of metallopolymers with a metal atom included in each monomeric unit. In utmost cases, metallopolymers of the type under consideration are prepared by radical polymerization, which comprises the same elementary steps as for conventional monomers.
