Abstract
In den letzten Jahren ist “ein gewisser Prinzipienstreitit”1 über die zweckmäßigste Form der Filialsteuerung von Kreditinstituten entbrannt, der unvermindert andauert.2 Der ”Kontroverse, die unter den Bankpraktikern um dieses Thema besteht“, 3 liegt im Kern die Frage zugrunde, ob Filialen durch die Vorgabe von Erfolgskomponenten, d.h. gewinnbeeinflussenden Größen (“Komponentensteuerung”4), oder mit Hilfe des Filialgewinns als zentraler Größe (“ProfitCenter-Steuerung über Verrechnungspreiser”5) gelenkt werden sollen. 6
