Abstract
In diesem Kapitel werden die in der Literatur existierenden, methodischen Ansätze zur betrieblichen Standortplanung kritisch analysiert und der Forschungsbedarf im Hinblick auf die vorliegende Problemstellung identifiziert. Darauf basierend wird eine adäquate betriebliche Entscheidungsunterstützung zur regionalen Standortplanung und -entwicklung konzipiert. Hierzu wird in Abschnitt 3.1 zunächst die Standortplanung in den betriebswirtschaftlichen Kontext gesetzt.
