A Little Tribute to Zeev Nehari

This article deals with a result due to Zeev Nehari, probably, one of the most impressive for the study of Differential Equations. Such a result, nowadays, known as Nehari’s Method, has influenced studies all over the world since 1962. Up to our days, the number of published articles and mentored students is impressive related to this result. His personal life is also different from ordinary people. For example, he was born on February, 2, 1915, in Berlin, Germany, as Willy Weisbach. After finishing high school in Berlin, he moved to Palestine and changed his name to a Hebrew one. A little of all this will be seen in this article. Moreover, we will describe the generalizations and highlight the current results that use it.
