Abstract
1.
The previously unknown salts of gold-containing oxonium cations were obtained, and specifically tris(triphenylphosphinegold)oxonium permanganate and the fluoborate.
2.
Tris(triphenylphosphinegold)oxonium permanganate aurates acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, and acetophenone.
