Abstract
1,3,4,6-Tetracarbonyl compounds undergo a series of cascade condensations with thiocarbonohydrazide to form substituted pyrazolo[1,5-d]-[1,2,4]triazines. The studied transformations proceed in good yields under catalyst-free conditions, and the reaction products are isolated without the use of column chromatography.
