The reaction of sulfonyl derivatives of 4-methylpyrazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4]triazines with N,N-dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal afforded a series of new enamines of pyrazolo-as-triazines. The synthesized compounds were studied in the reactions with some N-nucleophiles. It was found that the reaction of N,N-dimethylaminomethylene derivatives of 3-mesyl- and 3-tosylpyrazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4]triazines with hydrazine hydrate is accompanied by the as-triazine ring opening to give linear hydrazones, which was confirmed by X-ray diffraction data.
