Abstract
The reaction of 3,3′,5,5′-tetramethyl-4,4′-dibutyldipyrrolylmethene (HL) with cobalt(II) valinate (CoVal2) in DMF was studied by spectrophotometric method of molar ratios. The formation of a mixed-ligand complex CoValL was established and its electronic absorption spectrum was measured. The thermodynamic constant of complexation was calculated.
