Краткое описание
This study focuses on current advances, trends, and potential uses for bio-based polymers made from renewable resources. Through selective transformations of plant and other nonfossil, biogenic feedstocks, new polymers can be developed that will replace those made from fossil fuels and have unique chemical and physical properties. The overview highlights the advancement of properties by the endorsement of composites, fillers, and compatibilizers in bio-based polymers, as well as the technological and future obstacles that are addressed to use them for a variety of applications.
