BackgroundThe trough concentration (Cmin) of linezolid (LEN) is closely associated with therapeutic efficacy and adverse reactions in patients with complex Gram-positive bacterial infections. However, substantial inter- and intra-individual variability exists in plasma concentrations of this drug. Therefore, therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) is strongly recommended. This study aimed to establish a rapid and simple two-dimensional high-performance liquid chromatography (2D-HPLC) method for determining plasma LEN concentrations for TDM and providing a scientific basis for its rational clinical use.
