Abstract
Ethnopharmacological relevanceA technique known as “processing” is used in traditional Chinese medicine to alter the composition of the components to reduce toxicity and enhance its effects. After processing, Polygonati Rhizoma (PR) can enhance the treatment of spleen-related disorders, although the active components remain unclear.
