Abstract
Hydrogen over PtO 2 , 5%Pd(c), PdCl 2 , or 5%Rh(Al 2 O 3 ), in the presence of catalytic amounts of iron and under mild reaction conditions, resulted in the selective reduction of a variety of polynitroaromatic compounds in high yields.
