Abstract
Reaction of the platinum(II) acetylacetonate Pt(acac)2 with Co(OOCMe)2 · 4H2O in air produced the PtII–CoII heterodimetallic complex {PtII(acac)}2CoII(μ-OOCMe)4 as established by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
