Abstract
In this paper, the non-aqueous organothermal synthesis of large crystals of zeolite ferrierite is described. The influence of unbranched monoalkyl C 3 –C 5 amines, different gel compositions and crystallization conditions is studied. These parameters have a significant impact on crystal form. The large crystals obtained show adsorption properties similar to conventionally synthesized zeolite ferrierite and allowed the observation of the evolution of intracrystalline concentration profiles by interference microscopy.
