Abstract
Present study describe an efficient and convenient procedure for synthesis of 4H-pyrimido[2,1-b][1,3]benzothiazole-3-carboxylate derivatives by using acetic acid as catalyst in activated charcoal promoted aquatic medium. In this new approach, environmentally benign method was used by deeply considering green chemistry approach which is predominantly require for synthesis in current scenario. Reactions performed by using acetic acid as catalyst in hydrated atmosphere where activated charcoal provide surface for reaction in convenient way to achieve high yield, short reaction duration and easy isolation of product as compare to other reported methods.
