Abstract
The new and effective method for the synthesis of diamino substituted pyrano[3,4-c]pyridines was developed, based on recyclization of the pyridine ring. As initial compounds 6-aminopyrano[3,4-c]pyridine-2(1H)-thiones 4а–е were used. The X-ray crystallographic analysis showed the presence of intramolecular and intermolecular hydrogen bonds in the diamino derivative 6k. The synthesized compounds were analyzed for the antimicrobial activity.
