Abstract
Chiral trianglamine–Cu(OAc)2 complex was found to be an efficient catalyst for enantioselective Henry reaction between nitromethane and various aldehydes to provide β-hydroxynitoroalkanes with high enantiomeric excesses under solvent-free conditions.
