Abstract
Catalytic cycloalumination of 1-alkyl(phenyl)allenes with triethylaluminum (5 mol.% of Cp2ZrCl2 as the catalyst, ∼20 °C, 4 h, hexane) afforded methylene- and alkyl(benzyl)idene-substituted alumacyclopentanes.
