Abstract
An N-chelation-assisted palladium-catalyzed defluorinative arylation of trifluoropropanamides with arylboronic acids has been developed for the stereospecific synthesis of β-fluoroacrylamides. Various 3,3,3-trifluoropropanamides and arylboronic acids could participate in the reaction, affording the corresponding (E)-β-fluoroacrylamides in moderate to good yields.
