Abstract

A cascade reaction of 3-hydroxy-2-phenylisoindolin-1-one and cyclopropyl ketone has been developed via BrØnsted acid-promoted ring-opening/intramolecular cross-cycloaddition/[4 + 2]-cycloaddition process.
