Abstract
The synthesis of 2,6-bifunctionalized 9,10-anthraquinones bearing two alkoxy groups in the 1- and 5-positions is performed via transition-metal-catalyzed coupling reactions of 2,6-diiodo-1,5-dioctyloxy-9,10-anthraquinone, here reported for the first time.
