Abstract
The article considers the corrosion behavior of the Ti49.1Ni50.9 alloy with an austenitic structure in coarse-grained and ultrafine-grained states in acid solutions of various concentrations with a holding time of 12 to 96 hours according to GOST 9.905-2007. The most significant corrosion damage is observed in the coarse-grained state in a 3 M H2SO4 solution, while even a long exposure time does not cause obvious corrosion damage in the ultrafine-grained state. Using scanning electron microscopy by analyzing energy dispersive spectroscopy corrosion products were studied.
