Abstract
The myocardial contractility in the given twitch is greatly influenced by the mechanical conditions imposed to the preceding contractions. This effect is manifesting both as immediate changes of contractility and delayed modulation in the contractile ability. The influence of varying parameters of mechanical deformation on the immediate/delayed effects in contractility was studied and the useable tool for assessment of these effects was developed.
