Abstract
New tetrasubstituted thiacalix[4]arenes with amide and primary amino groups were synthesized in the cone and 1,3-alternate conformations, which were characterized by 1H, 13C NMR, IR spectroscopy and MALDI mass spectrometry. The obtained macrocycles can be used as building blocks for the synthesis of multifunctional compounds and the construction of transmembrane ion channels based on them.
