General Chemistry
Abstract
Fully aromatic C60Cl30 is much more difficult to reduce than non-aromatic C60Cl24; the anion radicals C60Cln− (n = 24, 30) are unstable and undergo rapid decomposition with loss of Cl− anions and partial substitution of chlorine atoms by organic groups.
