Abstract
The review briefly outlines the general laws of ion transport in solid electrolytes, including the mechanisms of defect formation and proper ion transport. Various approaches used to produce solid electrolytes are considered, including the formation of solid solutions with defect structure, nanodisperse and composite materials, materials containing a liquid phase, as well as amorphous inorganic and polymeric materials. Electrolytes with high Li-ion, O-ion and proton conductivity are considered in detail as best candidates for practical applications. Specific features of ion transport in these systems, problems that make them of limited use and the possibilities of modification of these systems are analyzed. The bibliography includes 500 references.
