Abstract
The title molecule, C6H9NO6 , exists in a zwitterionic form. The transfer of the H atom to the N atom involves two carboxyl groups and, as a result, their H atoms are disordered. The crystal structure is stabilized by O-H [...] O, N-H [...] O and C-H [...] O hydrogen bonds.
