Abstract
The high pressure (HP) heater system is an important part of the circulating water treatment system in the power generating units, whose role is to extract the steam with high temperature and high pressure exhausted from the turbine to heat the water supply of desecrator. The running state of HP heater system has a direct impact on the power generation unit. Based on the industrial automation control features of distributed control system (DCS), the water level control system of HP heater in the power plant by using an integrated and rapid safety industrial controllable network (Honeywell TPS) is designed, where the fieldbus, human machine interface and industrial control system are integrated together. Then the actual operation experiments on HP heater system with the proposed water level control scheme are carried out. Through the observation of water level curves, the design scheme makes the stability of the high water level improved greatly.
