Краткое описание
In this paper, a framework for wireless communication in an aerial transportation system is designed and developed using procedural environment modeling. This includes the methodology and implementation of the framework for optimizing aerial transportation networks. This framework integrates a virtual environment modeled in unity software with signal propagation analysis in MATLAB. By leveraging ray tracing, obstacle modeling, and data export capabilities of unity, the environment mirrors real-world communication scenarios. Here, three scenarios are presented with manually marked waypoints for UAV navigation. Analytical models such as FSPL and ITU-R are employed to calculate path loss in the system. The path loss results are presented for all three scenarios with and without obstacles (buildings).
