Obviously it would even be better to be able to predict which patients are responsive to standard chemotherapy schemes, and who will prove to be resistant. Also, to increase the knowledge of which mechanisms and patterns of resistance are involved in clinical resistance it is important to study in vitro drug sensitivity of patient samples
