Synthesis of 6-Oxime-Substituted Pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazine Derivatives

Abstract
The reaction of 2,6-dichlorobenzonitrile oxide and 3-arylpyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazine afforded a series of novel (E)-6-oxime-substituted pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazine derivatives and (Z)-6-oxime-substituted pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrazine derivatives in moderate yields. All the obtained compounds were characterized thoroughly by NMR, IR, HRMS methods, as well as single crystal X-ray crystallographic analysis data.
