Abstract
In situ heat-flow calorimetry, powder X-ray diffraction, and X-ray diffraction analysis are used to study titanium dioxide formation under hydrothermal conditions. The effect of the chemical history on the formation mechanism and micromorphology of the resulting nanocrystalline TiO2 powders is studied.
