Abstract
The effect of long-range axial covalent interaction (LRACI) was considered in copper complexes with monoamine complexones, of nitrilotriacetate anions. It was shown that, in some cases, due to LRACI, the five-vertex coordination polyhedron of the copper(II) atom, a prolate tetragonal pyramid (4 + 1), is completed to a six-vertex polyhedron, an asymmetric prolate tetragonal bipyramid (4 + 1 + 1).
