Abstract
It has been found that reaction of aqueous manganese(II) acetate with 2 mol of cymantrenecarboxylic acid in THF (50°C) results in the formation of 1-D polymer {Mn2[μ-OOCC5H4Mn(CO)3]2(μ-OOCMe)(μ-OOCC5H4Mn(CO)3)(thf)2} n , which is not destructed when reacted with 3,5-dymethylpyrazole (THF, 22°C) to form {Mn2[μ-OOCC5H4Mn(CO)3]2(μ-OOCMe)(μ-OOCC5H4Mn(CO)3)(Hdmpz)(thf)} n . The obtained compounds have been characterized by chemical analysis, IR spectroscopy, and X-ray diffraction analysis.
