Abstract
The possibility to obtain gold nanoparticles due to the reduction of tetrachloroauric acid under the action of carbonaceous nanoparticles prepared by hydrothermal treatment of glucose and ascorbic acid has been revealed. It has been found that the average size of gold nanoparticles and their resistance against sedimentation depend on the concentration of the carbonaceous nanoparticles during the reduction. We directly observed conjugation of gold nanoparticles at the surface of carbonaceous ones, which can be useful for the creation of heterogeneous catalysts.
