Abstract
A technique is developed for incorporating enzymes into polyelectrolyte microcapsules for the design of microdiagnosticums intended for the identification of low-molecular compounds in native biological fluids. The technique for introducing proteins into polyelectrolyte microcapsules is illustrated using two enzymes (such as lactate dehydrogenase and urease) with the aim of fabricating microdiagnosticums for urea and pyruvic and lactic acids. It is demonstrated that the most important stage of the design of the polyelectrolyte microdiagnosticum is the proper choice of the oppositely charged polyelectrolyte pair for optimum operation of the constituting enzyme.
