Abstract
A procedure for the synthesis of the LaCo1/3Sb5/3O6 layered oxide with a rosiaite structure has been developed. The method is based on the hydrothermal treatment of coprecipitated sediments with their subsequent annealing. The resulting material has proven to be an efficient catalyst in the CO oxidation reaction. This result confirms the prospects of using compounds with the rosiaite structure in oxidative catalysis reactions.
